Anna Hu

Our guest today was raised among diamonds, but her first language was music. Born into an Asian family rooted in the jewellery business, she began sorting gemstones with her father as a child while pursuing life as a classically trained cellist. A shoulder injury ended her ambitions as a solo musician, redirecting her toward another form of composition: haute joaillerie. After studying at the Gemological Institute of America, Parsons and Columbia, she founded her namesake Maison in New York. Today, her jewels are worn by Madonna, Oprah, and Gwyneth Paltrow. Not only has her work entered major museum collections but she has also set multiple auction records, including a necklace that sold for 5.78 million dollars at Sotheby’s Hong Kong. Un maxi RIB en avant première au Monaco Yacht Show

Le Prince Albert II a visité ce jeudi les nombreux stands du Monaco Yacht Show. La 35e édition se déroule au Port Hercule jusqu’à samedi. Parmi les nouveautés présentées cette année, le Hyper 5S, un maxi-RIB qui conjugue puissance, élégance et grands espaces, signé par le constructeur italien SACS Marine.

Un aéronef dans le Port de Monaco

Le Monaco Yacht Show est aussi l’occasion de découvrir des innovations étonnantes. Dans le Port Hercule, un propriétaire présente à bord de son yacht un aéronef que l’on prend parfois, à tort, pour un taxi volant. L’appareil, conçu par un pilote, est vendu avec le bateau.
