👉 Last June, Rebecca Sidalova, a Bachelor’s student, took part in the Monaco Ocean Protection Challenge, an international business pitch competition bringing together students, recent graduates, and young entrepreneurs committed to developing innovative solutions for ocean preservation.

🌊 Working alongside another Bachelor’s student and two Master’s students, Rebecca experienced firsthand what it means to transform an idea into a viable business concept. From brainstorming and teamwork to developing a business model and pitching to a professional jury, the challenge provided invaluable hands-on experience.

🌊 Beyond the competition itself, the event was an opportunity to collaborate with students from different academic levels and nationalities, exchange perspectives, and discover how diverse cultures approach entrepreneurship and innovation.

🌊 At IUM, these real-world experiences are an integral part of our educational approach. By encouraging students to tackle concrete challenges, work in multidisciplinary teams, and present their ideas to industry professionals, we help them develop the entrepreneurial mindset, confidence, and practical skills required to thrive in today’s business world.
