En juin 2006, S.A.S le Prince Albert II de Monaco a décidé de créer Sa Fondation afin de répondre aux menaces préoccupantes qui pèsent sur l’environnement de notre planète.

 

La Fondation Prince Albert II de Monaco (FPA2) œuvre pour la protection de l’environnement et la promotion du développement durable à l’échelle mondiale. La Fondation soutient les initiatives d’organisations publiques.

In a series of short video interviews, the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation is inviting personalities and scientists to open the window on post-pandemic environmental perspectives.

Loïc Fauchon, President of the World Water Council, reminds us that « one of the main lessons of this pandemic is that water availability is the best protective measure  » also inviting us to « think of the 500,000 children who die every year from diarrhoea and the 2 million people from malaria ». « At a time when so much money is being mobilized around the world, we must ensure that essential human rights are respected. » such as water, health, food, among the main ones.

Didier Toubia, Biologist and Founder of Aleph Farms, declares that « Sustainability is of course a matter of preserving our natural environment and reverting climate change. But it is also about ensuring farmers prosperity, supply chain resilience, food security, and it’s about sustainable diets. To achieve those goals, we need to revert to more local and traditional ways to produce food, which are respectful to the planet, to the animals and to the farmers. «

Journée du goût avec du chou rouge et de la grenade

Éveiller les papilles des plus jeunes en leur faisant découvrir les règles d’une alimentation équilibrée, saine et de saison : tel est l’objectif de la Journée du Goût et des Saveurs.
