?? En cette journée mondiale de la Terre, S.A.S. le Prince Albert II de Monaco appelle à une mobilisation collective pour la protection de l’environnement, espérant que chacun prenne pleinement conscience qu’Homme et Terre sont indissociables :
« Je pense qu’il est l’heure, aujourd’hui plus que jamais, de prendre en compte les besoins de notre planète. […] Nous avons oublié notre devoir auprès des écosystèmes dont nous faisons partie, notre lien avec le climat qui rend toute vie possible, ou encore le rôle des océans desquels nous dépendons. A long terme, nos priorités doivent être de se protéger, de prendre soin de notre santé, mais aussi de celle de la planète Terre, pour pouvoir comprendre que les deux sont connectés, et qu’aucun futur n’est envisageable si l’on ne protège pas cet environnement qui rend Notre vie possible. »

« It is more necessary than ever before to take into account the needs of our planet, and I believe that this is the right time to do so. […] We have forgotten that we owe to the biodiversity of which we are a part, to the climate which makes our life possible, to the ecosystems in which we live, to the Ocean on which we depend. Our priorities are now to protect ourselves in the long term, to take care of our health, but also the health of planet Earth, to understand that the two are connected and that we have no future, and that our children will have no future if we do not protect the environment that makes our life possible. »
